What are Motiva Breast Implants?

  • Motiva Breast Implants are a brand of silicone breast implants.
  • Motiva’s design concept is to combine comfort and functionality with the implants.
  • Their implants consist of a medical-grade silicone shell with a smooth surface.
  • They come in a variety of sizes, shapes, and profiles.
  • Motiva breast implants have been approved in over 60 countries so far.
  • Establishment Labs manufactures Motiva implants.
  • Motiva was approved for use in Australia back in 2016.

Breast Implant Sizing

Breast augmentation is a popular surgical procedure where your surgeon inserts breast implants into your breast tissues. This gives the fatty and glandular breast tissue further support.

Choosing the right-sized implant is important. You should consider your current breast size and body shape as well as the various sizes and shapes of implants available. Consulting a specialist plastic surgeon can help you decide.

Check out the Motiva Implants size chart for more information.

What are the Different Types of Motiva Breast Implants?

There are two main types of Motiva breast implants used in Australia – Motiva Round and Motiva Ergonomix

1. Motiva Ergonomix® Breast Implants

Motiva Ergonomix® Breast Implants are made to move naturally with your body. They are semi-round in shape with a Progressive Gel Ultima filling. They are made to mimic the look and behaviour of older generations of anatomical breast implants, especially during physical activity. Moreover, they are soft to the touch but remain firm, even if a rupture should occur.

Motiva Ergonomix®

Motiva Ergonomix implants are round implants that contain a special silicone gel, which makes them softer and fuller. These implants offer the advantage of mimicking the natural behaviour and appearance of anatomical or teardrop-shaped implants, regardless of your movement.

2. Motiva® Round Breast Implants

Motiva® Round Breast Implants provide a fuller upper-pole look. They also have the Progressive Gel Ultima filling so that they are soft to the touch but still firm during both movement and rest. The idea behind the design is to change the upward projection of the breasts.

If you need any assistance with the different types of Motiva Implants available, contact Dr Craig Rubinstein and schedule an appointment.

Motiva® Round

Motiva Round implants contain a silicone gel that is firmer than Motiva Ergonomix implants and provides more upper-pole fullness in the breast area on top of the nipple.

Why choose Motiva Breast Implants for Breast Augmentation?

Motiva breast implants have been made using the latest SmoothSilk® technology. This is soft to the touch and provides no abrasion to the adjacent cells. The smoother surface is thought to reduce the chances of capsular contracture.

Motiva breast implants are an excellent solution for breast augmentation for several reasons: their innovative shell, new-generation filler, and smoother surface are some of the many solutions this pioneering company has brought to the market.

The innovative shell, featuring the TrueMonobloc® shell design, encases both types of Motiva Implants. This casing enables them to be durable and flexible whilst also allowing you to follow your daily routine. The TrueMonobloc® shell design also reduces the chances of implant rupture.

The innovative Progressive Gel Ultima further reduces the risk of breast implant rupture. It is a cohesive type of gel that stays in place even in the unlikely event of a breast implant rupture. In other words, if a rupture occurs, the filament gel stays in place and does not leak into the surrounding tissue.

Safety and Testing of Motiva Breast Implants

Motiva Breast Implant testing consists of three significant tests.

The first group of tests performed was about the chemical composition of the Motiva Breast Implants, and the tests have shown that the materials used in the design of these breast implants are safe for use.

Another significant group of tests have been carried out to test the physical properties of the implants themselves. The TrueMonobloc® shell design has been tested under pressure at different pressure points on the implant itself to show that the implant can withstand equal amounts of stress at all points. The results revealed that the chances of a rupture due to movement or from an outside pressure force are minimal.

The last group of tests carried out on the Motiva Breast Implants have been testing the biological properties of the implants themselves. These tests ensure that the Motiva Breast Implants do not pose any health risks once in the body. This trial is still ongoing, but the results are promising. They may show that due to the innovative design and the SilkSurface®, they reduce the chances of capsular contracture and BIA-ALCL.

Motiva Breast Implants Warranty

  • The design and the filament gel of the Motiva Breast Implants reduce the chances of capsular contracture. Their Always Confident Warranty® covers any cases in which a capsular contracture may occur and offers a free replacement of the implants.
  • Motiva Breast Implants are highly unlikely to experience a rupture. However, if that should happen, their Always Confident Warranty® covers both the capsular contracture and cases of rupture. Make sure to speak with your specialist plastic surgeon for more details.

Motiva Breast Implants FAQs

What are the best breast implants on the market?

Determining the “best” breast implants on the market can be subjective and depend on various factors such as individual preferences, desired outcomes, and specific needs.

What is better, Round or Teardrop implants?

Round breast implants offer increased volume, while teardrop implants closely mimic your body’s contours, allowing for greater ease of movement and potential comfort.

Consult a specialist plastic surgeon for more details and a professional assessment of your case.

Which implants are better – Mentor Or Motiva?

Mentor Breast implants have been around since 1969 while Motiva Breast Implants have been around since 2004. Both Mentor and Motiva offer a range of products with their own unique features and benefits.

It is important to note that the choice between Mentor and Motiva implants depends on individual patient preferences, anatomical considerations, and the recommendations of a specialist plastic surgeon based on the patient’s specific needs and desired outcomes.

Are Motiva Implants The Best?

You can refer to motiva breast implant reviews for more information.

Do Motiva implants have TGA approval?

Yes. The TGA Australia has given approval for Motiva Implants. Please check for updates.

Can you keep breast implants for life?

Breast implants typically have a lifespan of around 10-12 years before they may need to be replaced due to changes in breast shape and fullness that occur with time and maturation. As the body ages, factors such as gravity, weight fluctuations, and natural tissue changes can affect the appearance of the breasts, necessitating implant replacement.

How long do Motiva implants last?

The lifespan of Motiva breast implants is approximately ten years. During this time, the Motiva Always Confident Warranty® covers you. This protects you even in the unlikely case of breast implant rupture.

How do Motiva implants feel?

Motiva breast implants feel soft and smooth to the touch while they are still firm and flexible.

What’s the most popular breast implant size?

The most popular breast implant is the one that can help you fill a C-cup. The most popular implant size is around 300-350cc but implants are available from 100cc to 800cc.

How much do Motiva implants weigh?

Breast implants are measured in cubic centimetres (cc) or millilitres (ml). One implant cc is approximately a gram. This would be approximately 100gm to 800gm.

Dr Craig Rubinstein will recommend the ideal breast implants for you from the range of Motiva breast implant options.

Where are Motiva implants manufactured?

The manufacturing of Motiva breast implants is done in Costa Rica, Central America.

Are Motiva implants safe?

The Progressive Gel Ultima technology helps the contents of the implant remain in place even in the case of a rupture. However, even with this technology, it is important to keep in mind that breast implants are associated with certain risks and complications.

Why should you choose Motiva breast implants?

When opting for breast augmentation surgery with Dr Craig Rubinstein, you may want to consider which breast implants work best for you. Some of the things you should keep in mind are your current breast size, desired size, body shape, and the characteristics—such as shape, volume, and brand—of the implants.
